Sister Wives star Janelle Brown takes time to share a festive tribute to her son Hunter as he turns 25. Hunter is Kody Brown and Janelle’s third child but the sixth out of 18 children. Viewers learned early on that Hunter has no interest in living a polygamous lifestyle like the one he grew up in. Instead of worrying about a partner, he has chosen a career in nursing so he can concentrate on helping others.
TLC viewers always knew that Hunter was close to his mother, especially after his return home from the Air Force Academy. Even though Hunter and Janelle were both frustrated at Kody for not allowing the entire family to get together during COVID-19, Hunter made the decision to tell his father he would rather see his siblings. Janelle and Hunter have always been there for one another, with a new post only cementing their mother-son bond.
Over the weekend, Janelle shared with her 640K followers that it was her son’s birthday. The mother of six couldn’t be prouder of Hunter, who has grown up in front of the camera. Janelle gushed that her son always knows how to work hard but still makes time for fun. Janelle also shared just how much she loves Hunter. Janelle’s birthday tribute highlights all of Hunter’s traits she mentioned in her caption. The photos show off Hunter’s love for his nursing career and time in the Air Force. However, they also display how much he values quality time with family, including goofing off with his younger brothers. It’s clear Janelle has a lot to be proud of with both Hunter and his siblings.
Notably, Kody failed to leave a comment or make a post of his own celebrating his son’s yearly trip around the sun. In the most recent season of Sister Wives, Hunter has made it clear his ideals don’t fall in line with his father’s. Even though Kody butted heads with many of his older children, Hunter straightforwardly told him where he stood and that he would be choosing to see other family members over him. Luckily, Hunter always has his mother’s support. It’s clear he and Janelle share a special bond. It’s no wonder Janelle’s followers were delighted to see the two haven’t missed a beat even amidst the pandemic.
