Watford manager Roy Hodgson has, on Thursday afternoon, provided an insight into the possibility of Ismaila Sarr marking his return to the club’s matchday setup this weekend.
Sarr, of course, is fresh off the back of securing the first piece of international silverware of his career this past weekend.
The explosive wide-man was utilised from the off, and looked dangerous en route to Senegal getting the better of Egypt to clinch glory at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Sarr, though, missed all of his nation’s first four outings of the tournament, owing to a knee injury.
So, will the 23-year-old be thrown back in at the deep end when Watford welcome Brighton to Vicarage Road this coming Saturday? It remains unclear.
Speaking in a press conference on Thursday, Roy Hodgson was pressed directly on the chances of Sarr being integrated into his setup from the off at the weekend, but admitted that he is yet to come to a definitive decision on the matter.
The former Stade Rennais standout, though, is in line to return to training on Friday, meaning his participation at some point in proceedings against Brighton certainly cannot be ruled out.

Relegation looms large
Watford will of course head into the weekend’s Premier League action still very much in the thick of the battle against the drop to the Championship.
As things stand, Hodgson’s troops sit 19th in the English top-flight table, three points adrift of Newcastle United, who looked much improved en route to a 3-1 downing of Everton during the week.
The Hornets, on the other hand, saw the club’s winless streak across all competitions reach a hefty eleven fixtures, owing to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of West Ham United.
