A new cover for Empire Magazine gives fans their closest look yet at Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight costume, including his iconic grey bandages.

The titular character in the MCU’s upcoming Moon Knight series is shown in full detail in a new image, including his iconic costume bandages. Set to premiere at the end of March on Disney+, Moon Knight will act as the introduction of Oscar Isaac’s Marc Specter/Moon Knight into the MCU. In the series, Specter, who is a former U.S. Marine living with dissociative identity disorder, is granted the power of an Egyptian god, but soon finds himself in the middle of a dangerous mystery.

Moon Knight is the latest in an ever-growing roster of Disney+ MCU shows and is joining the likes of WandaVision, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Hawkeye. An initial trailer for the series teases a mind-bending story and some intense action sequences, as well as a sinister villain played by Ethan Hawke. Although it has since been announced that Loki is getting a second season, Isaac did recently confirm that Moon Knight will be a limited series, thus making a second season unlikely. In addition to Isaac and Hawke, the show also stars May Calamawy, Lucy Thackeray, and the late Gaspard Ulliel, who just recently passed away after a tragic skiing accident.

While details are still forthcoming about the upcoming Disney+ series, the new Empire cover gives fans their closest look yet at the titular Moon Knight. The costume stays fairly true to the appearance of the character in the comics and also features a subtle hint at what might be in store for audiences when the series does eventually release. In addition to providing a more detailed look at the character’s costume and weapons, the image also highlights spots of blood on Moon Knight’s knuckles and crescent darts, suggesting the series could potentially feature more violence than the streamer’s latest MCU offering Hawkeye.

With a closer look than ever before at Isaac’s costume, fans are likely to grow even more excited for the release of the series next month. The trailer premiered on YouTube only three weeks ago but has racked up an impressive view count of over 28 million, suggesting anticipation for Moon Knight is high. With the tone of the series also seeming to skew toward something darker and more mind-bending than previous Disney+ MCU series, Moon Knight has the potential to be a big hit. Audiences don’t have too much longer to wait for the series now, with Moon Knight expected to hit Disney+ on March 30.
