Thomas Tuchel wants Chelsea to make three signings

Thomas Tuchel has already started making demands for the summer transfer window after falling short in the 2021/22 Premier League title race, according to reports in Spain.

As per Fichajes, Chelsea failed to dominate the Premier League as many expected. In addition, Manchester City have continued to win and now look set to lift the title.

As a result, Chelsea scouts have already started to work in response to the demands of Thomas Tuchel, who has expressly requested that three players be found for three positions.

Which players does Thomas Tuchel want at Chelsea?

The players said to be of interest to Tuchel and Chelsea are AS Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni, RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku and Leeds winger, Raphinha.

Interest in Tchouameni does make a great deal of sense. The Frenchman is one of the most promising young central midfielders in Europe right now, with his tackling style, ability to read the game and solid passing making him a superb defensive mid.

And with N’Golo Kante picking up more injuries in his old age and Jorginho also getting on in years, fresh legs in the centre of the park does make sense for Chelsea.

As for the other two players, both would likely be used as wide options in Chelsea’s front-three.

And whilst the Blues do already have a number of players to fill these positions, it is fair to say that some of them, especially Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, could be improved upon.

Of course, signing Nkunku and Raphinha would likely mean Chelsea would have to sell a couple of players on first, which can prove difficult in a post-covid market. But if they can get their hands on the trio above, they would surely be much closer to challenging for the title next campaign.
