It appears that the upcoming UAE Warriors 25: Africa event has just
added an exciting battle as its co-headliner.

A source close to the situation informed Oxtero that Samir
Faiddine is scheduled to face Hicham
Rachid. The source asked to stay anonymous as the organization
hasn’t officially announced the match-up yet.

Former Cage Warriors Fighting Championship 125-pound titleholder
Faiddine (11-8, 0-0 UAE Warriors) is eager to bounce back after
suffering back-to-back defeats in his latest appearances. After
stopping Sam Creasey
with punches in the third stanza of their CW 106 encounter and
capturing the vacant 125-pound belt, “Silverback” dropped decisions
to Luke
Shanks and Aaron Aby at
CW 114 and CW 132, respectively.

Rachid (7-6, 0-0 UAE Warriors) is making his promotional debut on a
three-bout winning streak. All his victories have come by means of
submission, and none of them has arrived later than the second
round. The Moroccan fighter has faced some legitimate competition
like current Ultimate Fighting Championship contestants Joel
Alvarez and Manel
Kape.

UAE Warriors 25: Africa will go down at the Etihad Arena on Yas
Island, Abu Dhabi, on Friday, Feb. 25. The headliner sees
Italian-based Tunisian Wisem
Hammami (6-0) taking on Shido
Boris Soto Esperanca (5-0) of Angola in a welterweight clash.
The event was rescheduled earlier this year due to a global
resurgence in COVID-19 cases, but it appears it has been
greenlighted to proceed. Fans can watch the event live on UFC Fight
